SQLObject and Big Brother
If you are sceptical about SQLObject and want to keep and eye on it, this feature is for you. I just check in support for turning SQLObject debug on and off from within CatWalk and displaying (in a frame) the raw SQL in all its’ gory.
I have already regretted having this as a frame in the same window as CatWalk, In a way it is a console, so even if I’m not that happy for pop-up windows in web apps I think this one deserve it. Besides that, the connection to CatWalk is not that strong, you see, the window will not only monitor the queries issued while playing with CatWalk, but also the ones generated by your application.
As you can see in the background when you turn monitoring on, SQLObject will still send it’s usual debug info to your terminal.
